Technical Product Manager - Battlefield QV Delivery & Operations

We are Battlefield Quality Verification (QV), an integral part of Electronic Arts, known for delivering the highest quality gaming experiences in the industry. We believe that phenomenal games start with diverse teams, mirroring the players and communities we serve.

We are seeking a Technical Product Manager based in Hyderabad to lead Asian Delivery QV for the Battlefield Franchise.  You will report to the Head of Delivery & Operations for Battlefield QV as part of a dynamic team of Leaders driving an important strategic pillar for EA.  You will support a team focused on ensuring the quality of Battlefield exceeds players expectations. The focus will be on expanding and evolving the Battlefield QV Team in Hyderabad, driving transformation across the Franchise through AI, Tooling and Automation.  Our team are integrated partners in the Battlefield product development organization, ensuring we meet the highest standards of Quality across every Battlefield experience.


Overview

We are looking for an experienced change leader who is passionate about driving transformation using AI, Tooling, Automation and Data to join the Battlefield QV Team.  You will be working closely with QV Leaders across multiple Studios to help evolve and transform how we test Battlefield, empowering and turbo charging our Team to deliver their best and most impactful work. As a Technical Product Manager, you bridge the gap between business objectives and technical realities

Responsibilities

  • The Transformational change of Delivery Testing on a AAA Live Service

  • Be the Battlefield QV Leader for Asia, managing the team in Hyderabad and a smaller team in Shanghai

  • Managing the Hyderabad Battlefield QV Team, supporting their growth and driving transformation and optimization

  • Identifying and incorporating innovative AI solutions to optimize current manual work and expand to cover new areas that would not be possible with manual test methods

  • Partner with SQ Team to define, schedule and verify delivery of Tools and Automation to optimize QV Analyst velocity driving significant improvement in Test Coverage impact per person

  • Define clear Automation Requirements and a Delivery Roadmap to replace and augment existing Test Coverage

  • Managing a Data Analytics Team to focus on the AI, Tooling and Automation opportunities and how to best leverage them

  • Using Data to drive improved Test Focus to test Smarter and Faster

  • QV evolution focused on defect prevention/containment, test automation and effective collaboration as well as innovative solutions and initiatives

  • Raise the bar for Delivery and a Leadership mindset across other leaders


Qualifications

  • 10+ years of leading large-scale software products from conception to delivery

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience with AI potential and practical implementation

  • Experience leading project execution and communicating with senior leadership

  • Experience navigating and coordinating across a variety of teams and organizations both locally and remote

  • Experience operating autonomously and escalating when needed

  • Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills to report project status

  • Experience using metrics to identify and measure improvements
