We are excited to adding an advanced analyst to our Battlefield Analytics team. You will lead critical insights about our players, their motivations, to inform critical decisions about gameplay in Battlefield 6 and Battlefield REDSEC.
You will use your expertise in analytics to power in-game decisions and lead insights to improve metrics related to player engagement, retention and gameplay experience. This is an onsite role in Los Angeles where you will report directly to the Director of Battlefield Analytics and be a part of a future focused analytics organization.
Responsibilities:
You will use your expertise in analytics to analyze high volumes of data to gain insight into Battlefield player behavior to propose recommendations for gameplay adjustment and metagame/UI improvements.
Perform advanced statistical analyses on gameplay and engagement data to identify trends, patterns, and provide relevant insights
Develop dashboards and self-serve tools to communicate findings and performance metrics to our partners and encourage the use of data in product decisions
Support teammates in Product and Design and apply soft skills to communicate complex information into top quality insights that inform decision-making
Qualifications:
6+ years experience in Analytics/Data Science or a combination of Master's and Ph.D in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or another quantitative field
6+ years of professional experience manipulating data sets, analyzing consumer behaviors, building statistical models with a demonstrated experience applying analytical or data science methodologies to real-world problems
Familiarity with at least one scripting language: R, Python, or Scala
Experience with any of the following is a big plus: Google Cloud Platform, Looker
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).
PAY RANGES
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
