As a Lead, on the EA SPORTS FC Franchise Marketing team you will partner with a cross-functional set of teams; mostly notable Studio, Creative, Production, Commercial, and Regional to:

  • Identify, develop and execute EA SPORTS FC franchise-wide marketing strategies and activations across both FC Premium and FC Mobile in and out of game globally.

  • Develop creative solutions to achieve our business KPIs and deliver player-first experiences to market. 

  • Guide all marketing beats for EA SPORTS FC from Reveal through the subsequent live service that operates 365 days a year.

  • Manage our cross-functional partners and external agency support, including but not limited to day-to-day communications, briefing, and activity tracking.


Responsibilities:


  • You will work across EA SPORTS FC, most notably future marketing workstreams, including creating and leading franchise-wide marketing strategies and execution.

  • You will focus on not only the initial strategic product position and campaign lens but on developing creative and cfx briefs, in both lead & supporting functions throughout the year. Translating business & consumer insights into go to market plans.  

  • You will work cross functionally to develop these experiences across a number of teams to ensure we meet the KPIs associated with each. 

  • You will act as a primary driver of your specific marketing beats, including status updates, identification of risks/opportunities and liaising with cross-functional partners to prepare and problem-solve against obstacles in the GTM campaign.


You will report to the Senior Manager of Franchise Marketing and be part of the central team (who are based in various locations globally including Vancouver and London). You will also closely partner with our global teams in the rest of Europe, North America and APAC, including teams such as Studio, Media, Creative, Franchise Strategy and Athlete Marketing among others.


Requirements:


  • 4+ years working in a strategic marketing function at a brand or agency. Sports experience is a plus.

  • Ability to manage, influence, and collaborate with multiple teams/stakeholders across varying disciplines and time zones to achieve our objectives up-to-and-including VP.

  • Experience driving collaboration across Product, Commercial, Marketing and Communications teams.

  • Ability to uncover and apply compelling data/insights.

  • English is the required language of work.

  • Have an interest in football (soccer) and EA SPORTS FC.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$111,600 - $152,800 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
