After nearly 30 years of creating genre-defining, interactive football experiences with the world's biggest football entertainment platform, EA SPORTS FIFA, we are soon beginning an exciting new era. EA SPORTS FC will become the future of football from EA SPORTS – as we strive to take global football experiences to new heights, on behalf of football fans everywhere.

With more opportunity than ever to innovate and create new, authentic experiences that bring joy, inclusivity, and immersion to a global community of fans, we invite you to join us and pioneer the future of football with EA SPORTS!

The Lead Game Product Manager will partner closely with Product leadership to identify and drive some of FC’s most important growth opportunities, with an initial focus on acquisition, early retention, and business model evolution.

This is a senior individual contributor role with significant ownership and influence. You will identify and size opportunities, develop hypotheses, build business cases and product strategies, and align cross-functional teams around a path forward. You will bring together player insights, data, market context, and business considerations to determine where Product can have the greatest impact.

Your Responsibilities

  • Identify, evaluate, and lead high-impact growth opportunities across FC, with an initial focus on acquisition, early retention, and business model evolution.

  • Take complex and ambiguous growth opportunities from problem definition through opportunity sizing, hypothesis development, strategy, roadmap, and execution.

  • Develop a deep understanding of player journeys, behaviours, motivations, and friction points using quantitative and qualitative insights.

  • Apply opportunity sizing, AEM/LTV economics, retention and conversion funnels, forecasting, and scenario analysis to inform product and investment decisions.

  • Develop hypotheses and experimentation strategies, including success metrics, measurement plans, A/B tests, and post-launch evaluation.

  • Build product strategies, roadmaps, and business cases that connect player needs with measurable business outcomes.

  • Prioritize opportunities and sequence investments based on expected player impact, business value, strategic fit, learning potential, and execution requirements.

  • Partner across product, development, analytics, marketing, commercial, and other cross-functional teams to align priorities and mobilize teams around shared player and business outcomes.

  • Frame complex decisions for senior leadership, clearly communicating recommendations, assumptions, trade-offs, risks, and expected outcomes.

  • Use data and evidence to challenge assumptions, identify new opportunities, and improve product decisions.

  • Monitor product performance, player behaviour, market dynamics, and emerging business models to identify opportunities for continued growth.

  • Create clear and compelling product narratives, strategies, and execution plans that enable teams to move from insight to action.

  • Contribute to the growth of the Product Management craft across FC through strong product judgment, analytical rigor, and cross-functional leadership.

Your Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Product Management or relevant experience in gaming, technology, digital products, or another consumer product environment.

  • Demonstrated experience taking ambiguous growth problems from initial opportunity identification through strategy, prioritization, and execution.

  • Strong analytical and commercial skills, including experience with opportunity sizing, LTV and unit economics, retention funnels, experimentation, forecasting, and business case development.

  • Experience using data, experimentation, and customer insights to develop hypotheses and make product decisions.

  • Strong product judgment and the ability to make high-quality decisions in environments with incomplete or evolving information.

  • Proven ability to prioritize across competing opportunities and determine the sequence of investments that will generate the greatest player and business impact.

  • Experience leading through influence across complex, cross-functional organizations with multiple teams and stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with experience preparing recommendations and presenting complex decisions to senior leaders.

  • Ability to synthesize quantitative analysis, player insights, strategic context, and commercial considerations into clear recommendations.

  • A player-first mindset and passion for building products and experiences that create long-term value for players and the business.

Experience We Value

  • Product leadership experience in growth product, free-to-play or mobile games, consumer platforms, personalization, experimentation, marketplaces, or subscription businesses.

  • Experience owning acquisition, activation, retention, engagement, monetization, or lifecycle growth initiatives.

  • Experience developing and evaluating new product propositions, commercial models, or business models.

  • Experience operating in large-scale consumer products where outcomes require coordination across product, technology, analytics, marketing, and commercial teams.

  • Experience with live service games, console or mobile ecosystems, or other continuously evolving digital products.

  • An understanding of football, sports fandom, EA SPORTS FC, or the broader interactive entertainment landscape.
