Level Design Supervisor

Are you passionate about multiplayer shooters and excited to shape iconic Battlefield moments? EA DICE is looking for a Senior Level Designer to help lead the design of engaging, memorable multiplayer maps in collaboration with our global co-development (codev) partners. In this key role, you’ll report to the Studio Level Design Director and take ownership of the multiplayer map experience from concept to final polish.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across teams, cultures, and time zones to shape gameplay experiences that millions of players will enjoy. You'll collaborate with multiple studios to guide the vision, pacing, and layout of multiplayer maps—helping bring the Battlefield experience to life across several unique environments.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the multiplayer map experience from initial concept through post-launch refinement, ensuring consistent quality and alignment with the project level design direction.
  • Lead and inspire international co-development teams, providing design direction, technical guidance, and design mentorship to deliver high-quality multiplayer experiences.
  • Partner closely with art, narrative, gameplay, and technical teams to deliver a cohesive, player-first experience across all disciplines.
  • Champion the design vision—balancing moment-to-moment action, long-term engagement, and strategic depth.
  • Teach and enforce design best practices, raising the overall quality bar across partner teams.
  • Facilitate clear, decisive communication across multiple studios, resolving design challenges with creative and technical solutions.
  • Provide hands-on contributions to level design when needed.
  • Drive innovation in map design, leveraging player feedback, data, and competitive analysis to evolve the Battlefield experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • 7+ years of multiplayer level design experience, including multiple shipped AAA titles in the shooter/action genre.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-disciplinary teams and delivering high-quality multiplayer content at scale.
  • Strong proficiency in blockout tools, iteration workflows, and proprietary or industry-standard level editors.
  • Demonstrated ability to set and maintain a creative vision while aligning diverse teams to that vision.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a collaborative, player-first mindset.
  • Experience working in multi-studio, co-development pipelines.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to design challenges.
