EA Create is a collective of content production teams partnering with EA Studios game teams to bring outstanding visuals, audio and technology to life.

The Technical Art team combines creativity and imagination with technical expertise.
We are the bridge between artists, engineers and designers responsible for data design and art production workflows.
Responsibilities:
* You will develop tools to refine processes, including batching and automation.
* You will look for and fix inefficiencies & problems in existing processes.
* You will work closely with artists from various teams to support the usage of our internal pipeline, workflow, and tools.
* You will develop and share methods to help artists achieve the highest quality and maximum efficiency.
* You will create documentation for artists outlining art production needs, including in-game integration, third-party/in-house tools, and art asset critiques.
* You will check assets for technical integrity before integrating into the game.
* You will troubleshoot technical issues inherent in maintaining a clean file structure and pipelines for both in-house and 3rd party software.
Qualifications:
* Proficient in spoken and written English.
* Experience working within the game development industry, with 2+ shipped products.
* Experience working with technical and creative partners from around the globe.
* Able to translate requirements into actionable solutions for technical and non-technical audiences.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or equivalent training & professional experience.
* 2+ years of experience in at least one programming language for tool development (Python, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc.).
* 1+ years of experience using an industry-standard game engine (e.g. Unreal 4, Unity 3D).
* 1+ years of experience using DCC software (e.g. Maya, 3Ds Max, Zbrush, Substance Designer, Substance Painter).
* Familiar with debugging and optimizing existing tools and/or software.
* Experience with Content Creation is a bonus (Modeling, Texturing, Animation, and Rigging), as are traditional drawing, painting, or sculpting skills.
