EA has built a Localization powerhouse that covers the needs for both current and next-generation platforms.
The Video Localization QA Specialist reports to the Video Localization QA Lead. This hybrid role requires 3 days per week in our Madrid office.
You will ensure technical, linguistic, and branding consistency in all localized video assets, meeting legal and rating requirements while enhancing team efficiency through process optimization, workflow automation, and QA tool support.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform QA checks on localized videos, in-game captures, and static materials for accuracy, compliance, and branding.
Oversee rating and display bug compliance to maintain high-quality outputs.
Develop and standardize QA profiles, refine procedures, and enhance workflow via QA automation tool support and testing.
Analyze bug and compliance data, generating clear reports, presentations, and training.
Manage translation memories, glossaries, and resolve issues.
Maintain and update documentation and subtitling guides in Confluence, adapting to new formats like static assets.
Act as liaison with WB engineering, vendor management, and machine translation teams, including QA outsourcing coordination with external agencies.
Maintain issue trackers and vendor guidelines, facilitating process improvements.
Qualifications:
3+ years in video localization QA, workflow, compliance, and automation.
Knowledge of localization, video editing tools, and automated testing.
Adaptability to new technologies and cross-team collaboration.
