EA Create Capture is a highly engaged content creation team within EA Studios. Our content is generated through multiple services which encompass motion capture, performance capture, 3D head scanning and body scanning for videogame titles developed by Electronic Arts (EA). The EA Create Capture team provides high-quality body and facial motion performances and character scanning for in-game, cinematic and narrative sequences. Our Los Angeles-based Motion Capture Studio serves the motion capture needs for all of EA's game development teams worldwide.
Role overview:
Reporting to the Studio Manager, the Production Assistant supports EA Create Capture services with fast and organized production planning and resource coordination for Motion Capture and Character Scanning.
You have live production on-set experience with knowledge of entertainment industry practices and protocols. You will support a team of project managers, Mocap Leads, and the Studio Manager to accomplish recording activity for game development teams.
This is a 12-month contract, based onsite at the Canoga Park studio.

Administrative Role and Responsibilities:
Provide support within the Create Capture team, with a specific focus on the Los Angeles studio team.
Create and distribute production paperwork, like Call Sheets, Production Summaries, Timesheets, Insurance Forms, Shotlists, and Schedules.
Coordinate on-site and virtual meetings between the Create Capture teams within the Production Assistant remit.
Coordinate catering requests for shoots and team lunches.
Reconcile PCard statements and create PO’s.
Acquire vendor estimates and invoices.
Help maintain the office environment and studio inventory.
Help track project expenditures and budgets.
Organize events for local Capture/Create celebrations and team activities.
Book crew travel for on-location shoots.
Shoot Day Role and Responsibilities:
Ensure the Capture studio and studio facilities are prepared and maintained throughout the shoot day (e.g. prepping talent areas and disposing of documents securely).
Greet visitors as they arrive on-site and provide additional support to them.
Manage shoot communication channels between on-set and remote crew.
Receive and distribute catering orders.
Ensure any shoot day specific paperwork is completed (e.g. Performer timesheets).
Requirements:
You have 1+ year professional experience working on a live production set alongside performers and crew.
You have 3+ years experience in an administrative or production office environment found in film, TV, VFX or video games.
You have a University Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
You are proficient in standard software tools and can use custom software such as Monday.com, Shotgrid, and iExpense.
