You will contribute to solution design, integration development, and platform enhancements within established architectural standards.
Success in this role requires staying current with Workday’s evolving roadmap, identifying opportunities to leverage new capabilities, and contributing to improvements in automation, scalability, and user experience across the HR technology stack.
Main Responsibilities

Deliver advanced configuration across Workday HCM modules with a hands-on approach, including Talent Acquisition, Onboarding, Offboarding, Performance & Talent, Time Off, and Compensation & Rewards.
Design, prototype, and deploy custom applications using Workday Extend and related technologies to enhance and optimize the HR technology stack.
Support and promote DevOps best practices for HR technology solutions, including applications and integrations, by contributing to CI/CD automation, release management, environment stability, and operational excellence in partnership with EAIT platform and security teams.
Apply strong understanding of HR systems and data models to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance across modules and integrations.
Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of new features, enhancements, and system improvements within defined architectural standards.
Evaluate functional specifications and change requests, translating requirements into scalable, sustainable, and high-quality technical solutions.
Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve delivery efficiency across the HR technology ecosystem.
Support system upgrades, testing cycles, validation efforts, and overall performance optimization to ensure platform reliability.
Provide guidance during issue resolution, partnering with stakeholders to troubleshoot root causes and implement effective solutions.
Skills
5–8 years of experience managing and supporting HR systems in global enterprise environments.
3+ years of hands-on experience configuring and developing solutions within HR SaaS platforms (preferably Workday).
Strong knowledge of Workday Extend and Workday integrations, including EIB, Studio, Orchestrate, Core Connectors, PECI, APIs, and related integration frameworks.
Demonstrated ability to analyze business requirements, solve complex problems, and drive process improvements across HR systems.
Experience partnering with cross-functional stakeholders, contributing to project delivery, and implementing complex technical solutions.
Solid understanding of Workday security, domains, business objects, integrations, and foundational architectural principles.
Growth mindset with a commitment to continuously learning and applying new technologies and platform capabilities.
Hands-on experience with full-stack web development supporting modern, web-based enterprise solutions.
Proven ability to independently deliver complex initiatives within defined architectural standards and with minimal day-to-day oversight.
Experience evaluating, supporting, or implementing Generative AI use cases within an HR or enterprise technology ecosystem.
Ability to think strategically about solution design while executing tactically to deliver measurable, high-quality outcomes.
Experience designing, building, or supporting integrations across platforms using APIs and middleware technologies.
Good to have working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, including the ability to write and debug SQL queries (e.g., MS SQL Server, Snowflake).
Good to have familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
