Corporate Accounting Intern - Summer 2025

Corporate accounting’s mission is to create shareholder value through integrity, leadership and business partnership. Our primary responsibility is to prepare and report the worldwide consolidated financial statements to senior management and to shareholders through press releases and earnings calls. Additional responsibilities include accounting consultation to internal partners, assisting with acquisitions, system improvements and other special projects.

Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of the corporate accounting function within EA.
Establish working relationships with teammates and key contacts, including Marketing, Studios, Operations, Corporate and Finance teams.
Work with teammates on preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
Help with analysis of the balance sheet (BS), profit and loss (P&L) statement and other financial reports as part of EA’s ongoing North America and Global close activities.
Prepare ad-hoc analytics/ reporting required to work on ongoing projects including efficient processes, IT systems and quality documentation.

Qualifications

You are a full-time undergraduate student.
You have strong academic credentials (Minimum GPA of 3.3).
You are currently studying Accounting, Finance or Business.

Skills and Knowledge

Developed written and verbal communication skills in English and excellent soft-skills.
Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Demonstrate analytical and creative problem-solving skills.

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

The pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k).
