The Data & Insights (D&I) team transforms data into actionable insights that power EA. We guide strategy and governance, build data and AI solutions, and ensure personalization experimentation and analytics; partnering across teams to improve decisions and create more meaningful player experiences.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Analytics, you will have an impact on all game systems in Apex Legends, one of the world's biggest shooter franchises.
This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.
Conduct A/B tests and causal inference to evaluate the impact of game content and feature changes.
Analyze behavioral data to provide insights into game features.
Collaborate with team members to improve the game optimization strategies in Apex Legends.
Model and simulate complex gameplay systems throughout the development lifecycle.
Design dashboards and presentations that communicate insights to team members.
Partner with Data Engineers and Architects to promote scalable analysis.
5+ years of professional experience informing product strategy with data analysis in gaming or adjacent digital products with high independence.
Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related discipline).
Expert–level SQL proficiency with experience extracting insights from complex datasets.
Experience applying hypothesis testing, modeling, and experiment evaluation using Python, familiarity with advanced experiment design and analysis approaches.
Experience designing self-service dashboards using Looker, Tableau, or other similar tools.
Familiarity with game design principles, player retention, and monetization models.
