The Role
Reporting to a Development Director, the team is searching for another Development Director (Project Manager) to manage the cinematics for EA SPORTS FC. DD's are the keepers of the project schedule and play an important role in successfully moving the development team from one project phase to the next while ensuring a focus on quality, collaboration and communication. You will collaborate, communicate and partner with other EA SPORTS teams, building strong relationships that require strategic thinking and strong execution.
This team works hybrid. - 2 days/week onsite at EA Vancouver.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the full operational aspects of the development, including establishing development framework, reporting, risk management, capacity planning, resource management, and project auditing for the EA SPORTS FC cinematics team.
- Partner with the Capture Lab to oversee the budget for the team.
- Work with the project leadership to define the project/team strategy and lead the team in execution against milestones and key deliverables.
- Solve problems, balance priorities, and find creative solutions to achieve results.
- Develop, maintain and publish project and team KPI’s that track project performance.
- Establish regular communication with the team and key stakeholders to provide project status updates.
- Keep the team and partners’ teams informed on development results, schedule, and changes.
- Ensure the team has the best organizational structure, processes and practices that allow them to produce high quality work efficiently, on time and on budget.
Job Qualifications
- 5+ years experience as a Project Manager, preferably in VFX or Animation.
- Production tracking experience using spreadsheets, databases, or database software.
- Track record of significant project and risk management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks across all phases of production.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and possesses strong emotional intelligence skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills - able to work on complex problems where analysis of situations requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Proficient in Shotgun/Shotgrid and Jira.
- Bachelor's degree in film/TV production or equivalent experience preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
- $115,100 - $161,200 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
