About Us: EA SPORTS is one of the most iconic brands in entertainment - connecting hundreds of millions around the world to the sports they love through a portfolio of industry-leading video games.
Our Quality Council, which is part of the EA Sports FC team, concentrates on player-focused testing and providing feedback on new features to our Producers. We are looking for close collaboration with Producers across the franchise to make sure new features meet the high expectations of our players.. You will test features while collating and providing feedback from the Quality Council to Production members. You will report to the Head of Experiential Quality for FC. This role is required to be onsite.
Responsibilities
* Create specific feedback plans to cover entirely their area of influence
* Play test new features to make sure player expectations are met.
* Communicate daily schedule to the Quality Council and Production teams.
* Escalate issues/blockers/feedback to the appropriate partners.
* Help with basic setup/equipment issues.
* Assist AQDs with data and task completion information gathering.
* Help prioritise issues in the bug database to expedite bug-fixing effort.
Requirements
* Understanding of defect and task tracking software (JIRA, Testrail, QMetry)
* Passionate football (soccer) fan and a dedicated FC player for multiple years.
* Experience providing feedback with ease, both verbally and written.
* 1+ years of testing experience, with a focus on player experience.
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
- $58,500 - $76,500 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
