We are looking for Quality Designer Co-op to join our paid world-class internship experience. The start date for this opportunity is May 2025 (8 - month term), you may be eligible for course credit depending on your institution. You will contribute to our quality assurance processes and work closely with other Quality Designers, Data Analysts, Engineers to help establish best practices for our analyst family. You will help build QA solutions and processes that enable us to deliver the best quality product for our players.

You are right for this role if you are passionate about solving difficult problems, enjoy collaborating with others, and have a deep desire for learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in discovery sessions to capture process/product/user requirements and workflows from a variety of internal partners

  • Map out current state scenarios and contribute to the design and implementation of future state solutions

  • Spend time testing the game, reporting defects/bugs, and providing feedback on features to improve the quality of the game for our players

  • Build working relationships with members of our partner teams— Quality Engineering, Data Analytics, Development, Production and Design teams.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and knowledge sharing of our Quality Verification (QV) practices and standards

Qualifications

  • You are currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree granting program. Preferably, completed 3rd year of their program.

  • You must be available for a full-time paid internship from May - December 2025

  • You are familiar with basic data analysis and using data for problem solving

  • You are familiar with any basic scripting or programming language, and concepts of software development life cycle (SDLC)

We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program throughout this Co-op, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2025. You must be legally authorized to work in Canada on a full-time basis during the 8-month Co-op. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. 

PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $60,000 - $65,000 CAD

The hourly pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k).
