Our Portfolio Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic and financial partnership to EA's Leadership team. We achieve this through engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to guide EA's performance.

Role Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst role is a unique opportunity to be a collaborative partner and trusted advisor to production directors as well as studio operation leaders across our North American Battlefield studios. Reporting to the Battlefield Finance Manager II, you will manage the day-to-day responsibilities for all FP&A elements associated with the delivery of Battlefield's strategy for these studios.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop relationships with studio and product partners to help achieve the long-term strategy of the franchise
  • Partner with product owners to set and manage product R&D investments
  • Partner with studio leadership to set and manage overhead budgets
  • Provide regular financial visibility with regards to Outlook, Risks and Opportunities across products and studios
  • Be the first finance point of contact for daily support such as contract and purchase order reviews, expense cost coding, and guidance on EA's finance policies
  • Manage close activities, including accrual considerations to ensure accurate accounting & financial management
  • Partner with Finance Manager II to prepare reporting packages and hold forecast reviews with product & studio leadership teams
  • Collaborate with central teams and other franchise studios to support Battlefield franchise goals and broader studio ecosystem
  • Provide guidance on core finance processes, building efficiencies and streamlining deliverables
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis and decision support for our studio partners

Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent university degree
  • 4+ years related experience with budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis and working with the business.
  • Proficiency in accounting and general GAAP knowledge.
  • Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise required, familiarity with PowerBI, and Anaplan a plus

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $73,200 - $101,700 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
