ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for a Senior Manager, FP&A to lead the Lifestyle Entertainment Finance team, supporting The Sims franchise, Skate franchise, and Lifestyle Central Tech. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, you will serve as a trusted finance partner to studio leadership and cross-functional teams, helping connect financial planning, business performance, and development strategy. You will work a hybrid schedule defined as three days in an EA office.
This is a highly visible role for a problem solver, communicator, and player-coach who can lead a high-performing team while also staying close to the work. You bring strong business judgment, clear financial storytelling, and the ability to influence partners toward decisions that drive growth, profitability, and long-term franchise success.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as a strategic finance partner to studio, product, commercial, and finance leaders, influencing business decisions across franchise strategy, investment prioritization, resource allocation, and return on investment.
Translate franchise economics, player behavior, monetization trends, KPIs, cost drivers, live services, and new product investments into clear insights and recommendations that support growth, profitability, and long-term business success.
Own financial planning and performance management across supported franchises, including full P&L management, forecasting, close analysis, risks and opportunities, scenario analysis, and executive reporting.
Lead and coach Lifestyle FP&A team, setting clear priorities, providing thoughtful guidance, and enabling high-quality decision support and strong business impact.
Enhance team productivity and impact through prioritization, simplification, automation, standardization, and thoughtful change management.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field.
8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment analysis, corporate finance, or a related field; gaming or entertainment experience beneficial.
Experience mentoring and coaching a high-performing team.
Demonstrated financial modeling skills, including driver-based forecasting, scenario analysis, business case development, and full P&L management.
Solid foundation of accounting principles and GAAP; experience with Power BI, Tableau and planning tools such as Anaplan, or similar platforms
Experience communicating analytical findings for a range of audiences
