As the Global Commercial Organization, we are responsible for driving the global commercial success of EA around the world by focusing on:

  • Commercial Partnerships: We are the global commercial organization that manages all of our commercial partnerships, including physical, digital, platform, and brand.
  • Commercial focus on our markets: We are accountable for ensuring we deeply understand our markets. This includes all aspects from the front lines of the local player experience, to the activities of our competition and business models. Through a commercial lens, it is our responsibility to find the right opportunities for EA in-market globally and then lead the execution.
  • Commercial Strategy: We collaborate with our Brand and Studio partners to bring market expertise and a commercial approach to our Franchises, maximizing player acquisition and financial results.
  • Planning: We develop plans that are commercially responsible for bringing together all lines of revenue across the business and ensure they’re sufficiently agile to adapt to market changes.
  • Commercial operators: We’re commercially and operationally responsible for delivering our games and millions of assets to a wide range of partners throughout the world.

 You will report to Sr. Director of Live Services Forecasting.

Responsibilities:

  • You will build and maintain revenue forecast models in Excel.
  • Collaborate with multiple partners to lead agreement in revenue forecasts.
  • Translate video game product assumptions into flexible model levers to create multiple scenarios quickly.
  • Identify business drivers and research historical performance of internal and external comps.
  • You will manage risks and opportunities to maximize revenue potential.
  • You will present forecasts and supporting analysis to variable levels and departments across the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of experience in an analytical function. Professional video game experience helpful
  • Expert in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) with prior experience managing complex models with large datasets.
  • Data-driven, able to gather insights from multiple sources and combine them into complex forecast models.
  • Experience with video game live service financial performance, and how acquisition, engagement and monetization all play their part in various markets.
  • Can create an easy to understand and compelling narrative around complex subjects.
  • Experience working on a global product with global scope.
  • Business degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
    • $138,200 - $219,000 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
