We are seeking an accomplished Technical Program Manager with experience implementing compute, hosting, and data center projects. You will guide architecture, engineering, and implementation workstreams for transitioning our virtual machine environment from VMware to OpenShift. You will need to be an expert with stakeholder management and have experience navigating large enterprise environments. You will report to the Director of Products, Programs, and Service Management team. This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.
Responsibilities:
You will demonstrate advanced expertise in implementing projects that focus on compute, hosting, and data center services.
You will demonstrate expertise in IT infrastructure within an enterprise environment.
You will operate with geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams.
You will facilitate and guide direct, sometimes difficult, conversations to resolve conflicts, clarify priorities, and confirm accountability.
You will apply rigorous due diligence to all aspects of program management, identifying risks, managing project schedule, tracking dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
You will excel in challenging environments, overcoming obstacles, and adapting plans to achieve program goals.
Qualifications:
7+ years managing complex IT Infrastructure programs in high-pressure, evolving environments.
5+ years of technical leadership with VMware and OpenShift compute platforms, including knowledge of virtualization, automation, storage, and data center services.
5+ years experience using tools such as Jira, Gsuite, Monday.com, Slack, Miro, Service Now, and Confluence.
5+ years delivering infrastructure projects using Agile, Waterfall, and Scrum.
5+ years of experience managing project budgets ranging from $100K-$1M.
Experienced engaging audiences at all organizational levels and communicating information through both writing and speaking.
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
Advanced degree or relevant project management certifications are a bonus
