The Revenue Team is a global organization, we collaborate with customers and partners to evaluate business models and distribution methods, ensuring appropriate revenue accounting.

We are looking for a Manager of Revenue Accounting to join our team in Redwood Shores. This hybrid role reports directly to the Director of Revenue Accounting.

You will support Commercial programs and Order to Cash processes, lead internal projects, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with EA policies and GAAP (ASC 606). Effective communication, collaboration, and compliance expertise are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review business strategies for revenue initiatives, guiding decisions based on financial and operational needs.

  • Interpret complex revenue contracts for accurate accounting per EA policies and GAAP.

  • Collaborate with partners to identify contract clauses affecting financial reporting and recommend improvements.

  • Develop revenue recognition policies for EA’s digital business.

  • Document and communicate financial conclusions on revenue transactions.

  • Monitor industry trends for unique revenue recognition requirements.

 

Required Skills:

  • Experience with ASC 606.

  • You have a CPA or equivalent qualification.

  • You are able to problem solve and come with asolution-oriented mindset.

  • You are a detail-oriented self-starter with a passion for process optimization.

  • You have excellent time management and delegation skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.

  • You are an effective communicator with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

  • You are a team player, building relationships across Finance and the business.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento)
    • $103,200 - $145,600 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
