JD - Associate Brand Marketing Manager

This role is based in Los Angeles with the ideal candidate expected to be in the office three days a week. You will report to the Director of Global Brand Marketing for Apex Legends.

The Role

As an Associate Brand Marketing Manager on Apex Legends, you will join the team leading cutting-edge launch and live services marketing. You will partner closely with teams across Publishing.  This includes Brand, Community, Social, Creative, Production, and Lifecycle Management to facilitate the creation and execution of player-focused marketing campaigns designed to excite our global community.  You will be an essential member of the team as you become a subject matter expert on upcoming seasonal content and the campaigns bringing it to life.

 

Responsibilities

  • Support Brand Management in creating seasonal brand guides that detail priorities, objectives, and in-game content beats.

  • Translate seasonal strategy into clear channel and creative briefs (deliverables, milestones, audiences, and messaging) that inform the seasonal go-to-market plan.

  • Improve alignment by briefing and coordinating Social, Creative, Community, Lifecycle/CRM and additional partners to deliver activations that ladder to seasonal goals.

  • Lead channel activation planning across owned and partner surfaces (e.g., social, creator/influencer, community), ensuring cohesive messaging, timing, and execution across touchpoints.

  • Oversee daily execution operations, including asset trafficking, routing, reviews/approvals, and milestone management to keep launches on track.

  • Maintain campaign sources of truth (timelines, status trackers, creative matrices, channel plans) and communicate progress, risks, and dependencies across the team.

  • Partner with Analytics to measure campaign performance across priority channels (especially social and creator activations), summarize insights, and recommend optimizations for in-flight and future seasons.

QUALIFICATIONS  

 Technical Skills

  • Two or more years of Brand Marketing experience, within a live-service, digital entertainment environment.

  • Interest and curiosity for all areas of marketing and omnichannel consumer-facing campaigns.

  • Manage across a variety of projects at the same time.

  • Can manage up and in partnership with a complex matrix of partners across regions.

  • Operate autonomously while communicating with your team, always looking for a way to push the work further for the Brand.

  • Strong presentation development skills and ability to clearly communicate materials to key partners.

    • $83,100 - $127,500 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
