EA SPORTS is looking for a Senior Manager of Athlete Marketing to lead and execute athlete-driven programs for Madden NFL, EA SPORTS College Football, NFL, and UFC. This role is designed for a strategic, creative, and relationship-driven leader with experience connecting athletes with brands, products and fanbases, and creating joint value to help drive growth for EA SPORTS and franchise brands.

The Role:

As a Senior Manager, Athlete Marketing, you will identify, managing, and activating athlete partnerships that promote our North American EA SPORTS franchises. You will work directly with top athletes, their teams and representation, bringing their influence to life through marketing campaigns, activations, and social content that resonates with sports fans and the gaming community.

We ask that you understand sports culture, athlete marketing, and content creation—and the ability to navigate relationships in the fast-paced world of professional and collegiate football, professional hockey, and UFC fighting.

You will be based in Orlando, FL.

What You’ll Do:

Athlete Strategy & Relationship Management

  • Connect athletes to our EA SPORTS franchise goals and marketing programs for Madden NFL, College Football, NHL, and UFC developing and executing high-impact programs supporting our goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with athletes and their teamsbriefing them on our plans, aligning on what success is for EA SPORTS and for the athletes, ensuring seamless collaboration and long-term partnerships.

  • Shape and manage EA SPORTS’ North American franchise athlete portfolio, identifying top talent and emerging stars to serve as brand ambassadors and more.

  • Collaborate with Franchise Marketing & Activation teams to define important athlete partnerships opportunities and activation needs, and Business Development, Business Affairs, and Legal to ensure optimal rights and agreements.

  • Partner across other EA SPORTS athlete marketing leaders and teams to progress our practices, and identify cross-sport and portfolio-level engagement opportunities that EA SPORTS can uniquely offer.

  • Influence and operate in a multi-functional environment, including direct reports, external agency partners, and internal functional partners.

Athlete Content & Activation Execution

  • Create concepts and partner with teams to build athlete-driven content and campaigns that promote excitement and deepen engagement with our games.

  • Partner with athletes and teams to ensure maximum joint value and storytelling opportunities for athletes and EA SPORTS.

  • Partner with our teams (Brand & Franchise Marketing, Social, Creative, Communications and Activation) to execute seamless activations, ensuring athletes are integrated into broader marketing efforts.

  • Manage athlete logistics for events, content shoots, and appearances, including travel, scheduling, and on-site execution.

Performance Measurement & Growth

  • Develop and implement data-driven approaches to track the success of athlete programs, ensuring measurable impact on engagement, brand awareness, and business growth.

  • Improve athlete partnership ROI by refining activation strategies based on performance insights.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 7+ years of experience in athlete marketing, sports partnerships, or brand marketing—preferably within the sports, entertainment, or gaming industries.

  • Experience creating and executing impactful athlete marketing programs that grow fan engagement and brand growth.

  • Deep relationships within the North American sports market, with athletes and their representation, and sports marketing professionals.

  • Experience developing engaging, athlete-led content across social, digital, and traditional media.

  • Expertise activation planning, ensuring seamless execution of athlete engagement and brand collaborations.

  • Experience with American Football, hockey, and UFC culture, trends, and storytelling opportunities.

  • Willingness to travel for athlete engagements, events, and activations.
