Technical Design Intern
Contract: 12-month Internship
Location: Guildford
Work Model: Hybrid (3 days in-office)

Responsibilities:
Work with other team members to design, prototype, and implement new features and content
Using all available sources, thoroughly research the allocated areas of design
Create and configure game side content, such as AI systems and cameras
Write technical documentation designed to support adopted procedures and toolsets, and following the agreed standards and conventions
You will write Design documents and contribute to game design decisions
You will provide feedback on the work completed by peers
Collaborate with members of the wider team, to help resolve issues and guide quality
Seek feedback from peers and key stakeholders, acting upon it accordingly
Conduct testing of your work, iterating as appropriate
Eligibility:
You are currently studying in the penultimate year of undergraduate study with a planned placement year.
You are available to commence a full-time 12 month placement in July 2026.
You are eligible to work in the UK without additional visa or relocation support.
Skills:
A working knowledge of PC, PS5, and Xbox Series
Experience using 3DS Max (or similar)
Experience using Level Editing software
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Excellent problem-solving skills
A keen interest in a wide variety of games
A high level of technical awareness
