After nearly 30 years of creating genre-defining, interactive football experiences with the world's biggest football entertainment platform, we are beginning a new era - EA SPORTS™ FC.

The Role

You will be a game designer who can combine an understanding and love of football with a good game design or systems background.

You will have a desire to offer up fresh and exciting ways to make features that represent the sport and those who play FC.

We want you to help us make the best new features that our players will get excited about and that you can be proud of making.

As a Game Designer on EA Sports FC, you will report to a Game Design Lead or Director and work within the design team to deliver features, tuning and balancing, and improvement of our ongoing experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Senior Designers to help create new features, methodology and approaches.
  • Paper and hands-on design of game systems and tuning them for specific goals.
  • Create new ideas and take external ideas and goals and working towards those.
  • Take a holistic approach to quality and delivery to ensure that the feature set and corresponding execution creates the best possible product.
  • Use qualitive and quantitative methods to validate and improve ideas.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Game Designer
  • Experience with AAA, sports titles, or multiple platforms.
  • A liking of football/football games.
  • Experience working on designs from initial creation through to implementation.
  • Understand why an idea will or won't work, and how to design to hit specific goals.
