Job Summary:
- Improves the software and experiential quality practices within their designated Feature Group - includes identifying improvement opportunities and driving associated initiatives.
- Understands their group's processes and interactions with partners and peers.
- Advocates for bug prevention, containment, and early QV involvement.
- Own test strategy and planning for the assigned POD
Your Responsibilities
Quality Strategy and Test Planning:
- Leverage testing skills and methodologies to test the product and share results systematically
- Design, develop, and lead quality strategies for owned feature/POD
- Research and propose solutions for increasing test coverage efficiency
Quality and Data Analysis:
- Compile data from multiple sources into cohesive summaries to communicate status and risk
- Use different testing methodologies and analyze feature sets for automation opportunities (Risk-based Testing)
- Use development tools to guide issue identification upstream and promote defect prevention.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Communicate status and risk through cohesive summaries
- Serve as the communication bridge between development partners and QA teams
- Provide technical, quantitative, and qualitative feedback
- Represent the QA perspective effectively in meetings, ensuring quality standards are prioritized.
Mentorship and Team Support:
- Lead improvements and knowledge sharing across teams
- Promote professional growth within the QA team
- Mentor and support team members in implementing quality strategies
Requirements
Experience and Knowledge:
- 2+ years of experience in software development, quality assurance, or game design
- Familiarity with automated testing, common automation tool sets, telemetry, and data literacy
- Experience with defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Experience owning continuous improvement initiatives and executing from start to finish.
- Can create Test Strategies anchored in Defect prevention and early QA involvement,
