Opis i wymagania

Jesteśmy globalnym zespołem twórców, scenarzystów, technologów, inicjatorów doświadczeń, innowatorów i wielu innych ekspertów. Wierzymy, że niesamowite gry i doświadczenia zaczynają się od zespołów, które są równie zróżnicowane jak gracze i społeczności, którym służymy. W Electronic Arts jedynym ograniczeniem jest wyobraźnia.

Ripple Effect Vancouver is a game studio on a mission to build community-first experiences through innovation and boundary-breaking technology.

Our Values: We believe in an honest and transparent environment, where developers grow in our crafts. We value bold risk-taking followed by excellence through iteration. We seek developers with diverse experiences who will enrich our studio creativity. We are looking for a Senior Systems Design Director like you to join us in our mission to create amazing games and experiences, and to elevate ourselves and our craft. You will report to our Design Line Manager. We are considering on-site and hybrid working options, and welcome full-time remote candidates who are within Canada to apply.

You will drive the long-term vision for engagement-related features by leading a cross-location team of designers in a multi-product environment. This means setting direction and overseeing the implementation of features related to Economy, Progression and Social.

Responsibilities

  • Direct long-term Direction for Progression, Economy, and Social related features in line with the overall game vision
  • Communicate vision, design, constraints, and concerns for your area
  • Enhance the collaborative process and structure within and outside the team
  • Contribute to the maintenance of an inclusive and creative working environment

Qualifications

  • At least one shipped title in a design leadership role
  • At least one shipped multiplayer title as a designer working within any of the important responsibility areas (Progression, Economy, and Social)
  • Experience leading complex product and team environments.
  • Understanding of best practices for creating an inclusive work environment.
  • Live Service experience in a design leadership role
  • Several years of games industry experience

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience shipping a F2Play game in a creative leadership role
  • Lead a team across multiple time-zones
