Job Summary:
Join us at Electronic Arts and help us inspire the world to play by supporting the technology behind our iconic franchises. As a Systems Engineer - Infrastructure Operations, you will report to the Manager, Enterprise Infrastructure and work onsite with our Vancouver team. You will collaborate with us to maintain, improve, and secure our large-scale enterprise infrastructure, ensuring our teams can create unforgettable player experiences.
Responsibilities:
- You will support and monitor VMware and OpenShift platforms, ensuring reliable infrastructure for our global teams.
- You will administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux systems, resolving incidents and service requests with us.
- You will perform data center activities, including hardware installation, upgrades, inventory management, and lifecycle support.
- You will create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures, contributing to our automation efforts using PowerShell, Python, or Ansible.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration, infrastructure operations, or data center operations within an enterprise environment.
- Experience supporting VMware virtualization technologies and administering Windows Server and Linux environments.
- Familiarity with PowerShell, Python, Ansible, or similar automation tools to improve infrastructure reliability.
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure concepts, including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and container platforms.
