What a Technical Artist (Cinematics) does within the battlefield team:
- We're looking for a Technical Artist who can combine their understanding of cinematics, animation, logical flow and runtime techniques to give players a tangible connection to their on screen characters, vehicles and world.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of animation setups, systems, and solutions that integrate across a wide range of game features, including narrative, gameplay, in-world events, characters, and UI.
- You will work within the Technical Art team and report to Technical Art/Anim Directors, constantly collaborate with fellow Technical Artists, Animators, Engineers, and Designers as part of the cinematics team.
Requirements
- 3 years of game development experience or preferably shipped at least one AAA game as a Technical Artist/Animator.
- Understanding of DCC, In-Game & FMV cinematic and animation content creation workflows.
- Experience using game animation systems: state flows/machines, tags and databases, sequencer/timeline).
- Familiarity with visual scripting (e.g. Unreal Blueprints, Schematics).
- Frostbite, Unreal or Unity Game Editor general experience.
- A passion for playing and making games.
