Location: Madrid.
Work model: Hybrid (3 days per week onsite).
Join the team that builds and supports the internal tools powering source control and game development workflows for EA’s AAA titles including Battlefield, FC, and Madden. Reporting to an engineering manager, you will focus on full stack .NET development, testing, and supporting Perforce workflows. This role is designed for an early career engineer who wants to grow their engineering skills while supporting developers and artists across EA.
What You Will Do
Develop features and enhancements for EA’s internal .NET based Perforce management application.
Write unit tests, integration tests, and contribute to overall code quality.
Build and maintain UI components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks.
Support basic Perforce help requests such as workspace issues, sync problems, and changelist questions.
Perform foundational Linux activities including command line tasks, log review, simple troubleshooting, and writing basic shell scripts.
Assist senior engineers with guided operational work and simple diagnostic tasks.
Contribute to CI integrations and small automation improvements under supervision.
Participate in Agile ceremonies, design reviews, and code reviews.
Participate in an after hours oncall rotation after the training period.
Minimum Qualifications
One to three years of .NET experience including C#, ASP.NET, REST APIs, and front end development.
Experience writing unit tests or working with testing frameworks.
Familiarity with source control systems such as Perforce or Git and interest in learning Perforce commands and workflows.
Practical Linux command line experience and ability to write simple scripts in Bash or shell.
Exposure to CI systems such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
Experience with relational databases and SQL queries.
Ability to work onsite in Madrid three days per week.
Nice to Have
Experience supporting internal users or handling technical requests
Exposure to Ansible, Terraform, or similar automation tools
Experience cloning or setting up test environments using infrastructure as code or automated methods
Familiarity with observability tools such as KQL, Grafana, or Application Insights
Interest in game development workflows or tools
Exposure to cloud concepts or infrastructure tools as future growth areas
