Now, we're looking for new team members to help us craft the next Battlefield.
We are looking for a 3D artist who can make the digital realm feel just as real as the physical. You will create photorealistic organic and hard surface structures complete with destruction under the guidance of our 3D Art Lead. You will report to our Line Director for Art, based in our studio in Los Angeles, California. You will be based in Vancouver studio onsite or hybrid.
What you'll do:
- Create strikingly realistic hard surface and organic models.
- Create a variety of 3D models (architecture, foliage, props) from photo references and concept art.
- Refine art assets and help solve performance issues.
- Collaborate with the World Art teams to bring the creative leadership’s vision to life.
- Document pipeline & workflow enhancements to ensure 3D asset cohesion.
What we are looking for:
- Excellent technical ability with an understanding of Maya, ZBrush, Blender or similar 3D modeling software.
- 3+ years of experience creating textures and materials with programs like Adobe Substance Painter & Designer.
- 3+ years experience working with physically based rendering pipelines.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
- $89,300 - $123,000 CAD
In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
