Assistant Producer - EA SPORTS™ FC Mobile, Business Operations

The EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile team is an international team, powered by global talent and looking for passionate new team members to work on one of the biggest sports games in the world.

 

Responsibilities:

The Assistant Producer of the Business Operations team will work closely with central organizations such as Publishing, Marketing, ASO, Legal & Release Management teams on behalf of the Development Team helping to manage & organize live event promotions, draft messaging for players and provide operational support to cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have production or design experience on a live service game & experience writing copy for in-game events or player-first communications. This person will work within the highly collaborative arm of the Business Operations team for FC Mobile, connecting the development studio (based in Shanghai) with the global marketing, publishing, social media & community on the world's biggest soccer/football game.

We're looking for someone with a passion for mobile free to play games and football/soccer. This role will involve co-ordination with remote teams and managing communications and promotions on the world's game, one of the most complex, yet rewarding global sports IPs.


As an assistant producer for the business operations team you will:

  • Work with the community management team to understand our users' needs & write critical in-game communications that serve our audience
  • Work with Fan Care teams, helping provide guidance on communications to provide information to fans & players
  • Draft engaging marketing copy that meets legal & licensing requirements, shows a clear understanding of the game & the value for users.
  • Review in-game copy for campaigns & tutorials, improving their quality & tone for an EN reading audience.
  • Work with interdisciplinary global teams to coordinate marketing deliverables and ensure their highest quality and success
  • Identify opportunities to grow our live operations services and tools, and work in collaboration with multiple partner groups.
  • You will report to the Business Operations Lead in Vancouver & partner global/regional teams in multiple time zones - including Shanghai, Australia & Singapore


Qualifications:

  • 2+ years' experience working in games development or games social media as a social media manager, producer, game designer or equivalent
  • Communications experience - drafting copy for games in or a major social media account
  • A passion for global football/soccer & ability to discuss current teams & players in leagues such as the EPL, LALIGA or specific popular clubs.
  • Basic Photoshop skills, experience using the tool for social media is an asset.
  • Organizational skills, we expect you to be self-motivated and manage your priorities effectively
  • A passion for providing a safe, and inclusive environment for all team members
  • Ability to speak more than one language is an asset, please communicate which ones you speak or write fluently in your resume

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES
* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$67,000 - $92,700 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
 In Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
