Assistant Producer II - EA SPORTS™ FC

Vancouver, Canada

EA SPORTS is one of the most iconic brands in entertainment – connecting hundreds of millions around the world to the sports they love through a portfolio of industry-leading video games.

Building on an incredible 30-year foundation, we’re redefining football with EA SPORTS FC - a genre-leading ecosystem of interactive experiences, bringing a global community of football fans closer to The World's Game. Together, we’re taking the largest football club in the world to new heights – and this is just the beginning!

With more opportunity than ever to innovate and create new, authentic experiences that bring joy, inclusivity, and immersion to fans everywhere, we invite you to join us as we pioneer the future of football with EA SPORTS FC, and welcome everyone to the club!

The producers on the FC Live - Production Operations team are the all-seeing eyes for our games, empowering our teams to make informed decisions while keeping our players up to date and supported. They know the game, inside and out. They are just as comfortable collaborating with our development teams to resolve a player impacting issue as they are engaging directly with our player community. They facilitate a positive two-way conversation and relationship between the development team and the player community. They have a passion for games, and a deep understanding of what it means to think Players First.

What you will do:

As a Production Operations Producer at EA SPORTS FC, you will use your understanding and passion for the FC game, your in-depth knowledge of video game live services, and your copywriting experience to help maintain the best possible experience for our players. You will be reporting to a Producer on the EA SPORTS FC Live Production Operations team.

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Primary focus of the role is crafting and releasing communications to players that will keep them aware and informed of changes to the game, maintenance, and how the game works (e.g. social media posts, long-form articles, etc.)

  • Work with our player community to identify problems and partner with our development teams on implementing solutions.

  • Support on-call work outside of standard working hours.

Ideally you will have:

  • 2+ years of copywriting and/or marketing experience.

  • 2+ years of experience working in games or a live service space.

  • Passion for games and football, supported by EA SPORTS FC product knowledge that spans the entire game.

  • Empathy for our players and the desire to deliver the best player experience possible.

  • Comfortable engaging directly with the EA SPORTS FC player community, both digitally and in person.

  • A systems and ‘wide view’ thinker able to propose thoughtful solutions to complex problems.

  • Someone who doesn’t shy away from a challenge and isn’t afraid of tackling things that are hard.
