Associate Producer II - EA SPORTS™ FC

We’re looking for an experienced game producer with a passion for PC game development.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Help manage the PC platform roadmap and align priorities with engineering, rendering, technical art, tools, and QA teams.
  • Guide delivery of PC-specific features including graphics settings, display technologies, input systems, performance tools, and platform integrations.
  • Define clear requirements, maintain documentation, and ensure cross-team understanding on PC features and technical work.
  • Oversee PC performance, stability, and compatibility efforts across diverse hardware configurations.
  • Partner with QA and engineering to manage bugs, crash analysis, and performance regressions.
  • Ensure compliance with PC platform requirements (EA App, Steam, OS updates, anti-cheat, entitlement, patching).
  • Represent PC platform needs in discussions with internal tech groups and external partners.
  • Monitor live service health, analyse player and telemetry data, and identify improvements to the PC experience.
  • Anticipate risks, manage dependencies, and guide decision-making to keep features on track and aligned with quality goals.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to leadership and partner teams.
  • Support long-term improvements to PC workflows, tools, and production processes.
  • You will report to the FC Core Line Producer

 

Required:

  • 3–5+ years of production experience in game development, with at least one shipped title on PC.
  • Understanding of PC platform ecosystems (Steam, EA App, anti-cheat, installers, entitlement, patching, telemetry, and platform certification).
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with Rendering, Technical Art, Tools, Engineering, and QA teams to guide features from concept to launch.
  • Manage backlogs, roadmaps, and cross-team dependencies.
  • 1+ years of experience working with external and internal partners to assess risks, define goals, and maintain delivery accountability.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills, including comfort reviewing performance metrics, crash data, and platform analytics.
  • Ability to translate technical constraints into clear priorities.


Preferred:

  • Experience on a large-scale sports or annualised franchise, or major AAA live service product.
  • Knowledge of anti-cheat implementation, security considerations, and compliance processes on PC.
  • Familiarity with PC hardware variability (GPU/CPU tiers, memory constraints, OS versions, drivers) and strategies to ensure compatibility.
  • Understanding of online services, matchmaking, and platform-specific networking considerations for PC.
  • Background working with distributed teams and large multi-disciplinary groups.
  • Passion for soccer and/or the EA FC franchise.


Work Environment:

This role is based in our collaborative studio in Vancouver, Canada. You must be willing to relocate before starting.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$111,600 - $152,800 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
