This role is a temporary 12 month contract.

This is a hybrid role working 3 days from our Guildford, UK based studio.

The Studio Communications team drives internal and external communication, and studio strategies, for our world-class studios working on Battlefield. You will join this team to support work for our studios in Europe, Criterion and DICE. In this role while your main focus is on studio-specific projects, you will also at times work and collaborate with the wider Battlefield product and communications teams.

You will help orchestrate internal communications and operational logistics to foster a cohesive and vibrant studio culture. Simultaneously, you will lead the development of compelling social media strategies aimed at enhancing our external brand presence, with a focus on talent acquisition and retention. Your dual expertise will ensure seamless internal operations and an external digital footprint, reflecting the spirit of Criterion and DICE studios.

Reporting to Criterion’s Director of Operations, you will support the Stockholm-based Senior Studio Brand, Communication and Engagement Manager with internal communications across Criterion and DICE cohesively, by guiding and implementing internal meetings and activities.

Main Responsibilities

Internal Communications & Operations

  • Support the Senior Studio Brand, Communication, and Engagement Manager in managing internal meetings and information-sharing projects at Criterion to enhance transparency between leaders and teams.

  • Manage onsite meeting logistics and culture-building activities for Criterion to strengthen studio culture and facilitate information sharing.

  • Enhance studio culture by encouraging a creative and cohesive environment.

Social Media & Content Strategy

  • Collaborate with the Senior Studio Brand, Communication and Engagement Manager to manage and expand studio channels, creating engaging content and planning content drops, for Criterion and DICE.

  • Develop and implement strategies for studio social media and websites to boost recruitment and retention.

  • Plan content releases aligned with important studio milestones and events.

  • Write engaging copy for social media posts, websites, and blogs.

  • Work with the Graphic Designer to create compelling content and maintain a posting schedule.

  • Analyse performance metrics to improve content strategy and engagement.

Event and Conference Management

  • Support Senior Studio Brand, Communication and Engagement Manager and manage internal and external conference attendance for studio talent (ex. devcom, GDC, or other local events)

  • Build communication campaigns around studio event participation developed in collaboration with Senior Studio Brand, Communication and Engagement Manager.

  • Assist speakers with materials and preparation

  • Coordinate with the Graphic Designer to create presentation materials and communication assets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Project management skills with experience in operational planning.

  • Experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.

  • Familiarity with design tools and basic content creation (experience working with designers).

  • Analyse data and adjust content strategies.
