EA Create Audio is a team of high performance audio creators. We are designers, implementers, managers, directors and editors. We work on titles that span continents and genres and are committed to serving our titles with absolute integrity and a focus on quality.

The Challenge Ahead

We are seeking a talented Audio Artist to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate within a team of Audio Artist peers, game designers and directors to design and implement sound effects for the Single Player Campaign of an exciting FPS video game project.
 
 This position requires professional sound design skills, as well as familiarity with game development tools and processes. It's an excellent opportunity for audio artists experienced in AAA video game sound design and audio feature development to make a contribution to one of the industry's leading franchises.
 

 Responsibilities:

  • Sound Design for game environments, features and narrative missions
  • Implementation of sound features in the game engine
  • Collaborate with game designers, artists, and programmers to ensure that sound elements align with game mechanics and enhance the overall gaming experience.
  • Ensure audio assets follow established file name, loudness and performance  standards
  • Ensure build stability procedures are followed and tasks get completed on time

Qualifications:

  • Professional skills with DAWs and a range of audio processing tools
  • Experience in sound design for game features
  • Familiarity with node-based logic systems for sound implementation (e.g. Unreal, Max/MSP, Frostbite)
  • Familiarity with content and project management tools like Perforce/JIRA
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ceci ne s’applique pas au Québec. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $73,200 - $101,700 CAD

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
