The Brand Marketing Manager 


This role will split time between franchise campaign initiatives and key product GTM plans that deliver revenue growth for The Sims business. Success in this role will include driving alignment and results as a cross-team collaborator. Reporting into Brand Leadership, The Sims, this role will partner with studio, EA's marketing and commercial teams, licensors and strategic partners to deliver inspiring product and marketing activations that create awareness, interest and consideration for The Sims.


Responsibilities


Franchise Campaign Support (6 months)


  • In partnership with the Sr. Manager, Campaigns, drive a successful partnership with our agency partners to brief and execute marketing campaigns.

  • Craft Brand briefs and GTM strategies for key product launches.

  • Drive campaign performance reporting and retrospectives of marketing initiatives to ensure the Brand Team is applying key learnings to evolve approach.

  • Serve as air traffic control across a matrixed organization to drive successful crossfunctional efforts tied to marketing initiatives.



Product Marketing Support (6 months)


  • Manage daily workflow of product development + asset tracking / approvals including reviewing concepts, creative and design, and go-to-market plans, while communicating clear, direct feedback to partners.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of the state of our business by communicating sales performance data, challenges, and opportunities to optimize performance to leadership.

  • Distill large volumes of consumer feedback into tangible insights.

  • Be the liaison between Brand Management and data teams such as Commercial Intelligence and Studio Data & Insights (SDI) and collaborate to make data informed decisions.


Qualifications


  • 5+ years marketing experience, preferably in the gaming/entertainment space, where you have contributed to brand growth and brand experiences.

  • Strong understanding of Live Service gaming or other fast-paced business models.

  • Operate autonomously across multiple projects while communicating with your team, always looking for a way to push the work further for the Brand.

  • Experience working for or with marketing agencies to drive successful campaigns from briefing to launch.

  • Proven ability to craft succinct and meaningful brand briefs for cfx partners.

  • A strong communicator with experience driving clarity and consistency with cfx partners, providing the proper context to ensure all partners are kept up to speed on progression of marketing efforts.

  • A natural curiosity, asking smart questions to understand root issues, developing creative approaches and solutions to solve challenges.

Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento) * $103,200 - $145,600 USD
* Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs) * $111,800 - $151,800 USD
* Illinois (depending on location e.g. Chicago vs Illinois City) *$92,600 - $121,700 USD
* Minnesota (depending on location e.g. Minneapolis vs Saint Paul) *$92,600 - $121,700 USD
* Jersey City, NJ * $117,300 - $145,600 USD
* New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo) * $92,600 - $145,600 USD
* Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane) * $92,600 - $135,600 USD

In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to temporary full-time employees scheduled to work full time.
