The Studio Operations team is a global team across 30+ locations and includes Quality Verification and Standards, Central Development Operations, Localization, Animation, Audio, Capture, Rigging and Blendshapes. As a central team, we bring together the best development solutions to further support game teams in achieving their vision and EA's ambition to be the best place to make games.

Within Studio Operations, we are members of the Player & Quality Insights team that focuses on understanding player behavior and designing player feedback events which help game teams develop high-quality games to meet our player's expectations. We are a data-driven team where every major decision starts with data analysis to find opportunity areas and to measure our efforts.

Working alongside our Data Analysts team, you will oversee and conduct the conversion of data into insights to lead to informed decisions. You will help with the development, implementation, testing and maintenance of our data systems infrastructure, including semantic models, dashboards and reports to help teams analyse and investigate their results.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analyses using statistical software, databases and BI tools
    • Develop and maintain scripts and queries to import, manipulate and clean data from different sources
    • Create, operate and maintain script-driven methodologies for the generation of analysis and reports.
    • Perform quality assurance on generated results to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Interacting with internal clients
    • Dealing with data providers in client organizations, specifically in the development of data requests, checking of data received, and follow up with data providers on data issues.
    • Dealing directly with clients on projects involving technical methodologies
    • Presenting results to clients in a clear and respectful manner, and maintaining professionalism in collecting feedback
    • Project management and quality assurance of active projects
  • Dashboard and Visualization Development
    • Develop visually appealing and intuitive dashboards
    • Leverage advanced visualization techniques to effectively communicate insights
    • Ensure adherence to best practices in data visualization, story building and user experience design

Required:

  • Student of Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Economics or similar studies. 
  • Advanced level of English, both written and verbal, strong communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, R Statistical software and/or Python
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence principles and concepts
  • Interest in gaming is a big plus.
