We are Full Circle, and we're all about having fun and making great games that people want to play with their friends. As the developers of Skate™, we are set to provide an experience that embraces and builds upon everything our community found special about the previous games. We are seeking a proactive Development Manager to join the Skate team. In this role, you will help drive project execution, foster team collaboration, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality game features. You will play a key role in supporting the team's day-to-day operations and long-term goals.

You will report to the Development Director.

Location: Hybrid three days a week onsite the studio at Vancouver, Edmonton or Montreal.

Duration: 12 months

Responsibilities:

• Support the management of a cross-functional team, including artists, designers, software engineers, Quality Verification, and other production staff.

• Assist in building and maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, and ensuring delivery of milestones.

• Facilitate clear directives and foster collaboration across disciplines, acting as a bridge between team members and leadership.

• Provide task and backlog management, ensuring priorities are clear and blockers are addressed quickly.

• Organize and support Agile ceremonies (planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) to drive continuous improvement.

• Identify and help mitigate project risks, escalating issues as needed to ensure smooth development.

• Partner with production and team leadership to manage project scope, quality, and resource allocation.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture that values feedback and growth.

• Champion a player-first mindset, ensuring the team's work aligns with the overall vision and player experience goals.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of project management or team leadership experience in game development or a related field.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

• Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar.

• Experience working with remote and hybrid teams in a collaborative and evolving environment

• Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.

• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Manage multiple workstreams in an evolving environment.

• Passion for games and delivering outstanding player experiences.

Additionally:

• Experience shipping a AAA game from concept to launch.

• Familiarity with live game operations or post-launch content delivery.

• Experience working in a geo-diverse or international team environment.

• Knowledge of free-to-play, games-as-a-service, or online multiplayer models.

• Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform decision-making.


COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) *$100,000 - $139,500 CAD

 In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
