We are looking for a Digital Media Specialist to join our team. You will report to the Community Engagement Manager, EA SPORTS, working closely with leadership, members of the EA SPORTS  communications team, and colleagues from across Electronic Arts to create engaging multimedia content that informs and engages audiences. This position is hybrid, with the flexibility to work remotely, but requires the ability to be onsite at our Vancouver office for specific events and meetings as needed.


Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging internal and external visuals and video content using the studio's established brand guidelines and visual elements

  • Work with team members on video shoot pre-planning, storyboarding, and creative ideation –  establishing a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creation, and its desired look and feel

  • Serve as a camera operator on photo/video shoots as required

  • Operate computer editing software and equipment used for video media and effects

  • Edit video to include preselected music, interviews, sound clips and other important aspects of the project

  • Ensure the correct formatting and presentation for finalised videos according to specifications

  • Provide graphic design support as required


Qualifications:

  • You have 3+ years of relevant industry experience

  • A creative, collaborative team-player with a passion for visual storytelling

  • You are a strong communicator, receptive to feedback 

  • You are knowledgeable with current trends (video games and social media)

  • You have experiences in a digital creative industry, such as video games or film

  • You have experience with editing software (After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)

  • You understand how to optimize video content for all social platforms 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). PAY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $63,400 - $86,500 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and after 3 months of service - extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
