Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an important part of our development process, consistently delivering actionable insights that support our game teams to optimize software performance and elevate gameplay.


We are looking for an Operations Leader with experience setting up and running large-scale remote operations. You will initially focus on supporting the growth of our new Bogota studio, while also supporting location strategy and leadership for our existing Bucharest, Hyderabad and Kuala Lumpur studios. You will report to the Head of Operations.


The role would involve an initial 3–6-month secondment to Bogota and occasionally travel to other locations afterwards.


Responsibilities:

  • You will implement the QVS COE location strategy, in collaboration with QVS senior stakeholders and EA partners.

  • You will lead a team of site leaders across global locations as they manage daily operations, highlighting risks and opportunities.

  • You will support QVS stakeholders in global resourcing planning and budgeting, ensuring location strategy factor into their decision-making and ensure location resourcing options aligned with needs.

  • Coordinate QVS work volume across the location, considering operational constraints and market opportunities.

  • Use operational data to identify challenges and opportunities; support BU leaders in the development of strategic plans to address gaps.

  • You will manage communication and updates from COE locations to the QVS Operations network and partner teams, ensuring alignment, operational efficiency, and business growth.

  • Escalation point for location wide challenges with hardware, vendors or internal EA partner groups.

  • You will partner with Global Talent Acquisition to deliver hiring demand, while collaborating on recruitment strategies and priorities for COE locations.

  • Own strategy and direction concerning interactions with external institutions, universities, third-party suppliers, and industry associations.

  • Support location-wide initiatives to enhance EA's market presence.

  • Monitor and drive proactive changes regarding external issues like changes in labor regulation and geopolitical situations.

  • Oversee execution of strategic plans, goals, budgets, workforce plans, etc. to improve efficiency, cost, quality, and team performance.

  • Identify and drive opportunities for cross studio and cross location improvements.


Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience setting up and managing large-scale remote operations.

  • Experience leading teams with a focus on strategic development.

  • Ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

  • Experience in formulating and implementing location strategies.

  • Experience in global resourcing planning and budgeting.

  • Experience in the gaming industry, Spanish language skills, and Quality Assurance are desirable but not required.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). BASE SALARY RANGES

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria)
    • $160,200 - $229,100 CAD

In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
