We are looking for a group of individuals to join our EA SPORTS Producer Academy. This 12-month position will provide you with an immersive learning experience that establishes the foundation for knowledge, mentorship, and experience for the next generation of EA SPORTS Producers. EA SPORTS creates connected experiences that ignite the emotion of sport through industry-leading sports video games, including Madden NFL football, EA Sports FC soccer, NHL® hockey, and EA SPORTS UFC.

In this position, you will manage the implementation of new features by cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders across the team. You’ll collaborate closely with design leaders to define and shape the features specific to your area of focus within the game. This role is based at our Vancouver office and follows either an onsite or hybrid work model, with a requirement of three days per week in the office.

Responsibilities:


You Will:

  • Learn about the video game development lifecycle and the Producer role.

  • Support the delivery of game features from concept to launch through collaboration with designers, artists, engineers, and project managers.

  • Document design ideas with clear and structured input.

  • Assist Lead Producers by communicating progress, challenges, and priorities within your team throughout development.

  • Foster a collaborative team culture by sharing knowledge and learning from others.

Qualifications:

  • You are a natural leader who takes initiative, motivates others, and drives results.

  • You think in systems and see the bigger picture, offering thoughtful solutions to complex challenges.

  • You’ve demonstrated leadership in sports or similar settings and feel confident sharing your voice and direction (i.e. coaching, team captain, mentoring, or refereeing).

  • You embrace challenges and enjoy working through difficult problems.

  • You have an interest in, or experience with, soccer or basketball - whether recreationally or competitively.

  • A passion for video games, particularly EA SPORTS titles, is a strong asset.

  • Clear communicator - both written and verbal - able to express ideas and expectations effectively.
  • Team-oriented, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively to deliver high-quality results.
  • Strong sense of execution, deadlines, and quality standards for features.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs). 

PAY RANGES

* British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) * $63,400 - $86,500 CAD

 In British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, and extended health/dental/vision coverage and basic life insurance.
