Junior Software Engineer - Full Stack

EA SPORTS™ FC Mobile is the world's most played football game on the mobile platform, serving millions of players from all around the world. We are excited to open a brand-new chapter on our journey with the establishment of the Kuala Lumpur EA FC Mobile Team which will become an important part of the global EA FC Mobile development team. Location & work model: Onsite in Kuala Lumpur

Report to: Senior Engineer

As a full stack web engineer in FC Mobile, you are expected to have experience in the web development industry. On a day-to-day basis, you will be working within a full scrum team that consist of designers, engineers, testers, product owner, and scrum master to develop features within the FC Mobile Live service system and web system. 

Responsibilities

  • Along with the other engineers, develop and maintain FCM content management system and other web-based system
  • Write unit and integration tests
  • Work with senior engineers on system design
  • Collaborate with the production live operation, game feature development, DevOps, and QA teams.
  • Provide live support for CMS and other system
  • Communicate with superiors promptly about the progress and risks of the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, experience with Typescript is a plus
  • Proficiency in Java, Database
  • Proficiency in frontend tech such as React, Html, CSS is a plus. Willing to learn frontend tech.
  • Familiar with containerization, cloud native, CI/CD, Cache etc.
  • Familiar with Linux platform, git and/or perforce.
  • Strong interest in playing games and game development
  • Fluency in English. Mandarin is a strong plus
  • Good to have 1-2 Years Experience ( Not Mandatory).
