We are looking for a Lead Mobile Software Engineer to join our team and help develop important app projects aiming to define the future of mobile engagement. Reporting to the Mobile Technical Director, you will use your deep native mobile development expertise to create engaging and reliable mobile experiences used by millions of players globally.

This role is hybrid based and can be located at either our Guildford or Southam offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead development efforts on critical mobile app features, ensuring quality, performance, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with teams (product managers, designers, backend engineers) to define, design, and implement features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable native mobile application code.
  • Mentor junior developers and participate in peer code reviews to foster technical growth within the team.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement improvements to app architecture and development practices.

How Your Success Will Be Measured:

  • Deliver high-quality app features.
  • Contributions to a maintainable, extendable, and performant codebase.
  • Mentorship and support of junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years developing advanced native mobile applications (including Swift on iOS, or Kotlin on Android).
  • Experienced in hiring processes and mentoring engineers.
  • Knowledge of mobile architecture patterns, performance optimization, and best practices.
  • Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM) is advantageous.
  • Experienced in Agile methodologies, continuous integration, and delivery processes.
  • Experience with AWS and web technologies is beneficial.
