Respawn Entertainment is the Academy Award-winning studio behind Apex Legends, Titanfall, and Star Wars™ Jedi titles. Join us to help shape the future of one of the world’s leading live service franchises.
As the Lead Producer for Content, Monetization and Progression Systems, you are the operational architect behind the game’s primary value drivers. Reporting directly to the Executive Producer, you will oversee the production ecosystems that deliver high-impact player content and sustainable business features. You aren’t just managing a schedule; you are ensuring that our Art, Design, Engineering, and Product Management teams are empowered to deliver world-class experiences at a global scale.
You will focus on long-term strategy, near term tactics and deliverables, team health, and the evolution of the production craft, while ensuring your teams are set up to win.
Responsibilities
Directly manage and mentor a team of Producers and Senior Producers. You are responsible for their career growth, performance management, and ensuring they operate to high quality
Partner with the EP to identify staffing gaps, lead hiring initiatives, and ensure that our production bench is diverse, high-performing, and aligned with the studio’s DEI and team health goals.
You don’t do the day-to-day for your teams; you build the environment where they can do it themselves with excellence.
You don’t just follow a playbook; you’re a change agent that can innovate and adapt. You will evaluate and refine our development methodologies to increase systemic efficiency and reduce team friction.
Use structured methods to plan and sustain organizational change. You proactively identify bottlenecks in the content pipeline and design systemic solutions to overcome them.
Champion the use of data and retrospectives to iterate on how we work, ensuring production is seen as a value-add craft across the studio.
Act as the primary interface between Content/Monetization pods and the broader studio leadership. You align Creative Directors, Tech Leads, and Product Managers to ensure technical feasibility meets creative ambition.
Own the high-level roadmap for your verticals. You are responsible for the delicate balance of "Revenue Accountability & ROI," ensuring the math of player engagement meets our business targets.
Facilitate the difficult conversations around scope and priority. You identify risks early and lead the team through complex trade-off decisions without sacrificing quality or morale.
Design and oversee our Co-Development and vendor management strategy. You will treat external partners as a seamless extension of our internal team.
Manage geographically dispersed teams, ensuring clear communication, cultural integration, and quality control pipelines across different time zones and studios.
Efficiently allocate resources across internal pods and external vendors to meet the fluctuating demands of a live-service environment.
Qualifications
You have 8+ years of experience in game production, with at least 3 years in a people-management or leadership role.
You have a proven track record of managing high-budget co-development or external vendor relationships.
You understand the nuances of monetization features and live-service operations. You can speak "data" with Product Managers and "vision" with Creative Directors.
You can pivot from a high-level budget meeting with the EP to a deep-dive technical blocker in a pod without losing focus.
You have a "Player-First" mindset, ensuring that every production decision is filtered through the lens of the player experience.
Experience launching and sustaining a Top-Tier Live Service title.
Deep expertise in Jira/Confluence and modern project management toolsets.
A history of contributing to the broader production community (speaking, writing, or mentoring).
