Role Overview
As the Lead Product Manager on an unannounced Battlefield title, you will help shape and drive the foundational strategy that enable our teams to deliver a world-class, player-first experience. You will champion cross-functional collaboration and set the bar for both strategic direction and execution in support of our live service and product vision. Your primary focus will be on enabling and empowering teams to shape, implement, and mature our live service and product strategy, ensuring that Battlefield continues to innovate, engage, and grow its global community well into the future.Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Guide the formation and evolution of Battlefield’s live service and product strategy, partnering with leads across Product, Creative, Analytics, Technology, Brand, and beyond to shape a robust, data-driven foundation for the franchise.
  • Cross-Functional Enablement: Support and mentor teams at all levels and across disciplines, ensuring alignment and effective execution of live service tactics to drive player acquisition, engagement, monetization, and community growth.
  • Insight-Driven Culture: Foster an environment where informed decision-making thrives, championing best practices for data collection, analysis, and the integration of both in-game and external insights into every aspect of our work.
  • Economy & Systems Design: Provide thought leadership on the design and ongoing tuning of Battlefield’s virtual economy, supporting teams in creating fair, engaging, and sustainable game systems.
  • Player Advocacy: Act as the champion of the player perspective, embedding a fan-first mindset across teams and processes, ensuring that player feedback and sentiment meaningfully inform the product direction.
  • Industry Awareness & Partnership: Lead efforts to benchmark best-in-class live service practices, synthesizing learnings from across the industry to inform Battlefield’s unique approach. Collaborate closely with brand and marketing stakeholders to amplify the franchise’s outreach and community impact.

 

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in product management, with significant experience in live service or product strategy roles within gaming, technology, entertainment, or equivalent fields.
  • Demonstrated leadership in building and guiding cross-functional teams towards large-scale, strategic objectives.
  • Deep experience in feature/system design, live operations, and virtual economy management within complex product ecosystems.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis, behavioral economics, UX/UI principles, and experimentation methodologies (A/B testing).
  • Track record of fostering inclusive, insight-driven team cultures and enabling others’ success.
  • Passionate gamer, ideally with deep familiarity with the Battlefield franchise and/or multiplayer/live service shooters
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex strategies into actionable plans and inspire cross-team collaboration.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with outstanding business judgment and a bias for empowering others.
