Live Service Marketing Operations Intern

The future of entertainment is interactive, and our Live Service Marketing team plays an important role in this future by building content, culture, and community around our brands. We empower audiences to Play, Create, Watch, and Connect across our amazing franchises and experiences, including EA SPORTS FC, Madden NFL, College Football, The Sims, Battlefield, Plants vs. Zombies, Design Home, Star Wars, Sim City, Golf Clash, Pogo, and more. We're a multi-functional group, with world-class expertise in building fandoms, driving interactive storytelling, and positioning our franchises at the center of the broader entertainment ecosystem.

In Live Service Marketing Operations, we collaborate with Marketing Strategy, Performance Media (User Acquisition), Creative Strategy & Production, and Business Management to accelerate efforts to grow EA games.

We're looking for a Live Service Marketing Operations Intern to join our team and help us deliver our next incredible experience for players.  You will report to the Director, Growth Operations.  This is a hybrid role based in our Redwood City, CA office.

Responsibilities

    Assist in Finance & Legal operational processing and workflows.

    Onboard new vendors and agencies

    Audit and consult on systems and automations to improve how we do business

    Develop clear, detailed documentation and presentation materials related to employee development and training

    Create culture-building activities for our team members

    Provide partner/customer evaluations and feedback


Qualifications

    You are currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree granting program in a related field with an expected graduation date no earlier than December 2026

    Interest in video game marketing, outsourcing pipelines, business finance

    Experience scheduling meetings, preparing slide decks, distributing notes, and providing feedback

    Comfortable navigating large team dynamics

    Ability to adapt to and embrace new tools (software, hardware, AI, etc.)

    Desire to help us share great games with the world!


You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2026. We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2026, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2026. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis during the 12-week internship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS 

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location. EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, degree type (e.g. Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD), what stage you are in your degree journey (i.e. freshman, sophomore, etc.), qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs. 

PAY RANGES

* California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. San Francisco) *$19 - $29 USD

The hourly pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including 80 hours per year of sick time (prorated based on scheduled hours per week if less than full-time), 16 paid company holidays per year, medical insurance, and 401(k).

Interns in California are also eligible for Voluntary Disability Insurance.
