We are looking for PX, Research Operations I (Moderator) to join our globally distributed team. You will report to Lead, Research Operations within the Player Experience team, partnering with Development teams and other team members to deliver user research sessions. Your contributions will ensure that research insights are captured, helping us create high quality experiences for our players.

Responsibilities

  • You will moderate 1:1 and group user research sessions both in-person and remotely, gathering qualitative and quantitative data

  • You will lead the technical setup of the Orlando Player Experience Lab, including setup, breakdown, troubleshooting, and software and hardware maintenance

  • You will work with Researchers to understand the research goals of multiple franchises

  • You will support Researchers with tasks like notetaking and creating session scripts

  • You will support Project Managers with tasks like tracking participant attendance, improving the on-site Playtest experience, and assisting with operational setup

Qualifications

  • You have or are pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, or have equivalent industry experience

  • Experience moderating research sessions is desirable

  • Comfortable setting up and troubleshooting PC hardware and game consoles

  • 1+ years of experience in the game development, consumer, or entertainment software industry is desirable

  • Proficient in Excel (can maintain spreadsheets), Google Workspace, and project management software (such as Asana, Trello, JIRA)

  • Comfortable with public speaking in a professional setting

  • Knowledge of games and the people who play them

  • Collaborative and team-oriented

  • Comfortable working across time-zones and in remote environments
