Producer I - EA SPORTS™ UFC
EA SPORTS is one of the most iconic brands in entertainment, connecting hundreds of millions of players to the sports they love. The EA SPORTS UFC franchise brings the spectacle and intensity of mixed martial arts to a global audience through inventive technology and authentic gameplay. Our team is driven by a mission to build the world’s greatest fighting game, and we are looking for a rising Production leader to help us get there.
We are looking for a Producer I to help drive the development of UFC. You will operate as a key cross-disciplinary leader guiding features from concept through delivery, shaping the player experience, and ensuring high-quality execution across the franchise. This role blends product vision, hands-on production management, collaboration across disciplines, and an ability to translate goals into compelling player experiences. You will report to the Lead Producer overseeing the UFC franchise, with the expectation that you can assume expanded ownership consistent with a future Lead Producer.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with production and creative leadership to define and translate franchise goals into clear feature direction, development plans, and measurable outcomes.
- Lead the prioritization, planning, and delivery of launch and live service features from concept to ship.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, animation, art, UX, QA, and Development Directors to ensure features meet quality targets, technical constraints, and milestone commitments.
- Define and maintain feature requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and success metrics for assigned areas.
- Evaluate player feedback and competitive analyses to identify opportunities and inform prioritization.
- Communicate feature status, risks, and dependencies clearly and regularly to senior leadership and partner teams.
- Present features and progress in internal reviews, fostering excitement and alignment across teams.
- Partner with Publishing, Marketing, Consumer Insights, and other central groups to ensure cohesive product planning and feature integration.
- Support the development of pipelines, workflows, and production practices that improve predictability and quality.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to Associate Producers or junior team members, helping elevate production standards and decision-making.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional game production experience, including senior leadership on at least one shipped AAA title.
- Proven ability to own features or systems across full development cycles in a console or PC title.
- Clear, concise communication skills capable of aligning teams, presenting to senior leadership, and articulating risks and tradeoffs.
- Experience operating within both Agile and waterfall development processes; capable of writing clear, actionable documentation such as feature briefs, user stories, and milestone plans.
- Strong collaboration skills with a track record of working effectively across engineering, design, and creative disciplines.
- Analytical mindset with experience using insights, data, or player feedback to drive decisions and prioritize work.
- Demonstrated ability to lead without formal authority, influence outcomes, and uphold quality standards.
- Familiarity with sports games, combat sports, or live service features is a plus, but not required.
- Passion for building great player experiences and for working with diverse teams to deliver exceptional results.
