EA SPORTS is one of the most iconic brands in entertainment – connecting hundreds of millions around the world to the sports they love through a portfolio of industry-leading video games. EA Tiburon is one of EA SPORTS largest development studios, actively developing and delivering games, content, and online services, primarily under the EA SPORTS brand. Located in Orlando, Tiburon develops Madden NFL, NBA LIVE, EA SPORTS PGA TOUR along with other new intellectual properties, on a variety of platforms.

We're hiring a part-time program manager. This role will be responsible for assisting with several new and existing projects at various stages of their development. These projects include (but are not limited to) EA’s Partnership for Academy and Industry Research (PAIR) pilot course with a local Central Florida university; onboarding new hire-university students transitioning to contract and full-time positions on our Tiburon studio development teams, with the goal of getting them up to speed quickly to increase their productivity; and coordinate activities related to external community engagement for the Tiburon Studio and Central Florida region including employee community engagement and community partnerships.

 As Program Manager, you will report to the Director of Operations, Strategic Programs team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations and various team leaders to identify placement opportunities that align with organizational needs and recent graduate- /new hire-skills.
  • Coordinate onboarding process with EA Talent Acquisition team and to a lesser extent Tiburon recruitment and selection processes
  • Monitor and evaluate intern progress during their work terms in partnership with hiring managers and HR to provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Conduct regular assessments and feedback sessions to ensure the recent graduate/intern program’s effectiveness. Make recommendations to the Global Next Gen (eration) Talent acquisition team and partner with Next Gen Talent program leader to implement changes as necessary
  • Maintain communication with program new hires to ensure a positive experience
  • Manage relationships with local community organizations and internal and external EA stakeholders, ensuring timely coordination of tasks and activities
  • Ad hoc community relations project support as needed

 

Qualifications:

  • Experience with creating internship or co-op programs for university students.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of recruitment support and onboarding processes.
  • Proficiency in using technology tools e.g., Google-suite and software applications relevant to sourcing and hiring talent coordination and survey administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish and maintain relationships with students, university administrators, hiring managers, recruiting, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
  • Knowledge of the various departments and disciplines in a video game studio is a plus.
