About Us: Our Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team is an important part of our development process, consistently delivering actionable insights that support our game teams to optimize software performance and elevate gameplay.

Who do we work with? You will work closely with the American Football franchise, College Football Team. This role is Hybrid in Orlando, 3 days in office.

About the Role: The Quality Designer position will require you to improve the existing test methodology identifying new capabilities. You will oversee the entire quality plan for College Football Stability and Automation team and will report to the QA Development Director and partner directly with the Producer and/or other Designers to establish quality standards and provide both quantitative and qualitative feedback on new features.

🔑Your Responsibilities 

Quality Strategy and Test Planning

  • Leverage testing skills and methodologies to systematically test the product and share results

  • Design, develop, and lead quality strategies for owned features

  • Implement pre-integration build verification and reporting processes

  • Research and propose solutions for increasing test coverage efficiency

  • Identify risks and plan testing for releases

  • Document reproduction steps, gather test data, and assist in debugging

Quality and Data Analysis

  • Compile data from multiple sources into cohesive summaries to communicate status and risk

  • Use different testing methodologies and analyze feature sets for automation opportunities (Risk-based Testing, Data/AI-driven testing and more)

  • Monitor game builds and follow up on fixes to ensure quality goals are met

  • Use development tools to guide issue identification upstream and promote defect prevention.

Collaboration and Communication

  • Communicate status and risk through cohesive summaries

  • Serve as the communication bridge between development partners and QA teams

  • Provide technical, quantitative, and qualitative feedback

  • Represent the QA perspective effectively in meetings, ensuring quality standards are prioritized.

Mentorship and Team Support

  • Lead improvements and knowledge sharing across teams

  • Promote professional growth within the QA team

  • Mentor and support team members in implementing quality strategies

✅ Our Requirements 

Experience and Knowledge

  • 4+ years of experience in quality assurance, game design or software development

  • Familiarity with automated testing and common automation tool sets

  • Experience with defect and task tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)

  • Experience working in a Scrum/Agile environment

  • Experience working with game engines and associated tool sets

Skills and Abilities

  • Understand concepts of defect prevention and containment

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

  • Experience with data analysis to identify patterns

  • Passion for creating high-quality player experiences

  • Experience utilizing telemetry tools and software, as well as programming languages like Python or SQL
