We're looking for a motivated Security Software Engineer to join our Enterprise Security Engineering Apps team. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who loves building and improving security tools that protect our organization every day.
You'll work on a diverse range of applications, from threat intelligence platforms to email scanning systems and security productivity tools, using a modern platforms including JavaScript, Python, NodeJS, and Kubernetes.

The Security Software Engineer will be a part of the Enterprise Security – Application Engineering team and will report directly to the Director, Enterprise Security Engineering Apps.
The role requires a hybrid work schedule, meaning 3 days per week from our office in Bucharest, Romania.
Responsibilities:
Develop in-house security applications that help threat detection, incident response, and security automation.
Design and implement new features and performance enhancements to improve usability, scalability, and security.
Guide the evolution of core tools, helping set the technical direction based on shifting enterprise security needs.
Develop integrations and automation, including ETL pipelines, scripting solutions, and data migration tools.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent hands-on experience.
Proficiency in JavaScript and Python.
3+ years of experience with technologies such as NodeJS, Angular/AngularJS, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with integration tasks (e.g., scripting for ETL or automation).
JavaScript & Python – Essential for front and back end logic and API-driven applications
Experience writing clean, reliable, and maintainable code
EKS/Kubernetes, Docker – For container orchestration
Splunk – For log aggregation, security monitoring, and integration workflows
